Hello blogland!

Let's see....mmmmmm....I have to admit I thouroughly enjoyed my Art Creations Class on Saturday with Debra Gabel.  She is an excellent teacher and designer (I already knew that, but never actually took a class with her before).  The process of creating an art quilt in soo fasinating and intriguing I'm loving the challenge and excitement of stretching out my creativiness.  I'm still finishing up my rough design, but hope to have it on paper by end of tomorrow....

Trying to get back on the horse, sorta speak, today.  It's my day off from work and granted my kids have a snow day (which still just baffles me), but we are all cleaning house right now which will help me refocus on my quilting.  It aids in the clutterness being gone and a clean slate to work in.

I'm going to work on my Needle Nosh Blocks for next class and maybe finished a UFO top.  Need to make an appointment to see my longarmer over the next 2 days as well----I have quilts to pick up!!!

I did a LARGE mailing recently and await for all participants to get their new items, then I can share more pictures.

le sigh...started this post this morning and just realized I never posted it...doh...but I did do some cleaning, some sewing, some socializing (friends came over) and some bill paying....all in all a good day!

  2. Hello Toni,
A tidy space to work in does help the creative juices, but keeping it tidy - there's another story!!! :-(

  3. Thanks for stopping by my blog!
I had my sewing area (not just a room - half the basement - or so my husband claims) all cleaned up and then I started something new - so there's fabric all over again! But it is nice to have a fresh start occasionally.
