I'm Orange Crushing....

well, I can't believe how much I've done and spent several hours doing on this Mystery hosted by Quiltville/Bonnie Hunter.

I picked out my fabrics, cut strips, sewn strips and pieced 50 4 patches.....crazy :) But I'm 1/3 of the way through of my 4 patches, which I hope to finish by Sunday. Wanna see my progress....

Now to prepare for work!

  1. Looking good!! I'm still debating on starting this. I have so much going on already, but mystery quilts are just so much fun. Everyone is inspiring me more and more to give it a go :cD

I have so much going on as well, but I figured I could whip this up and feel accomplished at the end of April for finishing something and using my stash to do it bonus.

At least I have remove some things off my plate, but I feel too behind on other things.

How about if you just pick out your colors for the OC and pretend you are playing along? Save the webpages on your computer to when you can find the time later to do it?

    Thanks for commenting!

  3. I would start this, but I don't really have scraps. Plus I have a million and one other things to work on.

I didn't have scraps, but I did have yardage and had to use my brain to figure out how much to cut to make the first step....it's an addiction really :)

  5. hehehehehe!! I'm so glad that you are doing this! I just love your fabric choices! I do have all of my 4 patches finished but only about half of them are ironed! I hate ironing!!! We are going out to dinner tonight so maybe I can get them finished when I get back. This is my first Mystery quilt so I'm super excited!

I don't like the ironing part on this either, too small and I burned my finger tips a few times on my special ironing pad--ouch! But I'm ALLLL done and showed off to Bonnie!! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee....I'll post about it shortly!

This is my second Mystery quilt and I'm excited too because I was able to pick colors I hope work nicely--and got loving approval by Bonnie today :)
