Manic Monday Offerings!

I've got the bug...quilting season is about to hit full swing with fall only a few weeks away...so I'm going through my UFO's and "fall cleaning".

Following the lead of Kate and offering up my stuff :D

I have lots to "give away". UFO's I've totally lost interest in or have had since last year's "fall cleaning" and realize I just need to let them go.

Because I have so many, I'll start this week offering two different projects.

The details:

1. This is free to any good home. I don't want or need anything in return, but if you feel the need just read my interest post to get ideas.

2. All items are "used", as in I have either started work on them or pre-washed. Some things might still be in original packaging, but most will not be.

3. All items are stored in a plastic bag in a non-smoker home. I do have cats, so if you are allergic, please be aware to wash items before handling.

4. All items are "as is".

5. I must be able to "reply" to your comments. All you need to do is under your profile, edit, show email address. You can't win if I can't contact you.

6. I will place all commenters from this post in a bowl and have my youngest daughter pick out winners. All drawings will happen on Saturday, winner announced on Sunday.

7. If a week as 2 offerings, I will do two drawings. If you do not want to be in both, please state so in your comment.

8. If there are no takers, I will repost the previous week's ufo until it has a home to go to. The purpose of this is to share and move this stuff out of my house :D

9. You can comment twice, once for yourself and once for a friend (whom might not blog). So, even if you don't like these offerings, you might know someone who will!

10. Please comment!! Needed a number 10 just to even the list out :D

EDIT: PLEASE update your profile so I can email you. If I can not contact you, you will not win a ufo. . . see #5 above!

Here is this week's items:

Item #1

3 yards of fabric from Quilting Treasure's line Jacobean Rhapsody Fabric Collection. This fabric has not been washed.

Item #2

Holiday Churn Dash Blocks. These were acquired through verses online swaps--I think there is only 2 of my own blocks in this batch. There are 9 - 12" blocks and 6 - 9" blocks. I just haven't been able to find a setting for them, they are a nice group and I hope someone would love to use them!

Although I haven't commented yet, you have enticed me with the purple fabric and the blocks. What a great idea.

  3. Well I generally comment alot anyway because I'm such a blabber mouth, but the fabric is gorgeous and I would be very happy and grateful to give it a good home LOL.

  4. Can I also comment for my friend Vicky who is our local Linus co-ordinator who would be very grateful for any UFO or Orphan blocks? Thanks.

BTW, I see you have been sewing up a storm - well done, it's great stuff especially the 'take 2 and add a few' quilt top! That is such an effective pattern no wonder you are pleased.

  11. What a great idea! Thanks for doing this. I love the Holiday Churn Dash blocks, but don't enter my name as I have too many of my own UFO's.

  12. I'd just love that fabric as well as the blocks. I know just what I'd want to do with both of them :)

So please put me in the drawing for both of your offerings :)

What a great idea! I may have to think about doing this myself with some of the things I am no longer *in love with*

Please don't add my name because I don't need any additional projects (I'm playing catch-up myself), but I wanted to say what a wonderful idea this is! Everything will have a good home and there will be lots of happy quilters!

  16. What a neat idea! I love it! Maybe this is what I should do with a few of my UFO's! I will pass on the drawings this week - looks like you have a bunch of interest - I just wanted to say what a great idea I think this is!

  18. I am impressed. This is a good idea but I just am too stubborn to let these kinds of things go. I have been working to finish many of my UFOs etc. and I am actually making headway. I think I just would feel lost if I didn't have so many projects hanging out there!!!!
