This week has tested everyone in the Eastern Tennessee area with 3" of snow and 1/4" of ice, kids staying home from schools and the finally week before Christmas. Yet, with all these stressful things, there is always something to be grateful for.
- I'm not all too happy with our heat pump - but at least we have heat and lots of love and quilts to keep us warm.
- Spending "school off" days with my girls.
- Knowing my husband is only a phone call away.
- Knowing my son and his girlfriend in Philly will be here for Christmas.
- Knowing I have all I need to live (and then some). My wants come in their own time.
What a blessed life I truly live!
Looking at it that way, yes, we all do have alot to be thankful for!

We are all blessed and see that if we take the time to look. I am grateful that I don't live where there is snow...hurricanes are not that bad in this part of Louisiana and being hot is better than being cold. I too have all I need to live and my wants are provided. For example, quilt shop has fabric right now for $3 and $4 a yard (fantastic sale!) but I had no extra money. Voila, DH took me to casino and gave me $20 which somehow became $50 (I still don't understand that!). A want provided for! Wants do get taken care of in the most unusual ways if you believe especially this time of year. Happy holidays!
