Getting back into the swing of things...

over the past 3 weeks my life has gone topsy turby....I've had to relearn how to balance my personal duties, my wife duties, my mother duties in a entirely new way of thinking and living.  The changes are very good, but challenging to find that "right" balance.  I've got some new routines going and have the family moving forward, now to get myself back in a new routine.

I just cleared my google reader---I had over 500 new posts to read...mmm, I don't think so.  I hit my favorite ones quickly before I reset it.  I need to make the time to read in the am.  I love reading what you all are working on.  It inspires me!

Today is my day off and I'm working on swap commitments.  I have something to mail to Kate North for our RRBlogger swap.  Then I'm almost done with my little friendship bag and will start my Summertime swap project.  Another tiny paper piece block for a shop sample.  Then lastly I have to make some cottages for October.  This is going to be a fun day of sewing!

Let's see what I have pulled out already for some of these projects:

I guess I need to get moving!!

  4. It's a constant balancing act, eh? I know exactly what you mean!
BTW do you have a recipe for your salsa? I'd like to make some but have not been happy with my salsa in the past.
