is to make this:
This Halloween Baltimore Album quilt is more specular in person. I got to see it at Quilt Market and completely forgot about it until Betsy mentioned it the other day.
I need to save up $78 just to purchase this pattern, but I know I will be starting it before the end of the year.
I bought this pattern and did one block. I love needleturn applique and even teach needleturn to ladies in my quilt guild. This pattern would be better done at a fuse down and machine applique as many pieces are too small. I plan to enlarge the pattern and continue doing it in needleturn applique. It is a beautiful pattern and I will finished it!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI am doing the needleturn Santas from the Classic Santas, The Kinship Series, BOM from Quakertown Quilt, INc.
They are beautiful.
Toni I am so sorry that I made you spent so much money.
ReplyDeleteIt is so you though.
I must agree with Betsy, this pattern screams "Toni". $78 for a pattern, gee that sounds steep. You will have a blast making this quilt.
ReplyDeleteWonderful, but you need to think that it will be a project you work with over a time. This sort of work is not an "over night"-work. But if you are like me, the smaller, the better. Good luck.
ReplyDeleteI love that pattern - and have so far avoided purchasing it. But it looks like it would be so much fun to make!
ReplyDeleteOh my!!! It is gorgeous!!!!
ReplyDeleteOoo! I saw this at Quilt Market last fall and was blown away! I was this close to signing up for the BOM! I can't wait to see what direction you take with it. :)
