Just curious....

How do people find the time and energy to post in their blog daily??  I guess I don't consider my life that exciting to post every day?  I think I would definitely bored folks.  I'm trying to catch up on reading again and ya'l do have exciting lives----just I can't keep up :)

We had a lovely Christmas breakfast on Friday with all my co-workers and did our annual Secret Santa.  I love my little candle and votive holder ---mmm, need to take a picture of it.  It fits nicely with the rest of my burning hazzards :)  I also received a few other gifts, from friends and co-workers, like YUMMY bread, and some unique ornaments (snowflake from Becky, star from Nancy):

And look...calorie free treats:

dsc07136.....all ironed out 6" squares....dsc07145..beautiful....

I'm just overwhelmed with the thoughtfulness of friends.  All I can do is say a humble thank you and know that I treasure each gift I receive.

I TOTALLY forgot to mention when I visited my sister last week, she pass on to me 30 Christmas Dear Jane blocks she had from a online swap many years ago!!  I love them all and have already found in my wonderful stash, fabric to use for sashing and hope to put these together in the new year:

Since I'm pretty much done with holiday stuff, I'm going to play in my sewing area today.  Finishing going through old UFO's and stash to move out......I might be offering stuff for the cost of postage.  I wish ya'l lived closer so I could have an open house :(

Watching holidays shows all day while I play.  Maybe a nap tossed in as well....taking cold meds--ya know they kick butt sometimes :)

Don't tell anyone but I cheat on my blog, I just tell little bits of what I'm doing that way I can spread it out. I go ahead and schedule the post that way when I'm being boring no one knows but me. Oh my that fabric is to dye for. ;) Wow! The Christmas DJ is wonderful, I need a sister.

  3. Your gifts look so nice. I like getting ornaments. You can never have enough especially with a 9 foot tree.
I pre-post on my blog or if I make 2 or 3 things then I only post about 1 at a time.
I like reading blogs with new stories so I try to do the same.
This has been a wonderful year. I made some really good friends and I have learned so much through blogging.

  7. I could never post in my blog every day - I don't have that much to say.

Love the little candy treats. That is such a cool idea - and it looks just like candy.

And -- lucky you to get those Dear Jane blocks!!

    Have a great Christmas.
