More pictures....

I think I'm finally organized now to share more about our quilt show experience from Friday.

Pictures of beautiful quilts from the show are here.

And here's some of my booty.  I did darn good in my opinion.  Kept within my budget and got everything on my list of "to gets".  Only picked up a few bonus items and one wasn't even from the show.

Blues are for a holiday gifts, the hand dyes is for my cirtus quilt, the dots is for a baby quilt, the purple dots are for binding on another baby quilt and the dragonflies are for a tote I'm doing from my blocks from my last retreat.  The bag I saw at Hershey, but there wasn't a matching wallet, this time there was and I got both!

One of my favorite brands of candles was on sale at the Cracker Barrel we had dinner at....mojto flavor!

Things I splurge on.  A kit of a pattern I got at Hershey, they were out of, but not this time :) (so I have an extra pattern if anyone likes 1" strip log cabins) and some yummy oranges, greens and a cute yoyo pattern to make up.

And a few gifts from my traveling buddies, the FQs was a bundle from Jane, the charm packet from Eva and the matching coin purse for my bag from Donna :)  Thank you again guys!!

It was an exhausting trip for everyone and I think everyone slept most of Saturday, besides me of course.  I worked and came home and tried to "clean up" my sewing area....which was clean already from last weekend's company visit....but....I ended up with a new sewing/cutting table/cabinet on Thursday and had to rearranged and reorganize all sorts of stuff.  I'm almost done today now, so I hope to sew sometime this weekend.  Ms. Jane is taking my old sewing machine cabinet home with her to use and now I have room for sewing parties again :)

I'll take more pictures after I vacuum and finish putting away things.  Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

Ooooooooooo, the halloween fabrics are so cute! What are you going to make with them? The other fabrics are so yummy, especially the hand dyes. Looks like you came home with lots of goodies that make a gal smile.

Thank you! I'm unsure what to do with the Halloween fabrics, I have sooooooooooooooo many already (they are the second biggest collection of fabric I own). I should start making something--maybe a quickie Yellow Brick Road pattern or a Take Five Pattern.

  4. Just got back from ANOTHER hospital visit! Love the halloween loot. Is that a 1" log cabin Halloween pattern? Can I trade you for something? Want to do some Halloween this year.
Love all your goodies - you did well. Sadly I missed our annual local show, but will blog why later :-(

I don't know. I only got a FQ and luckily the salvage has info on it:Peggy Toole for Robert Kauffman, print #3094 is all it has on it.
