It was quick and easy and is only about 33 x 44. I'm not as crazy as I thought I would be with it, but it's done. It's the sampler for the shop to showcase the saltwater taffy batik 10" squares kit we are selling.
The pattern was really easy and I do plan to use it for some other sunflower batiks I have, but enlarge the blocks...5 1/2" blocks are tiny!!
Spending the weekend so far just hanging with good friends, watching girlie movies, a little bit of drinking and doing some computer work. Going to see Momma Mia later today and having dinner with my son & girlfriend. I hope to get some sewing in there somewhere!
I think it is very pretty.

ReplyDeleteThis is so simple but gorgeous ! Got me thinking - lol ! Mamma Mia is great fun - wasn't sure it was my kind of film but I loved it and drove my family mad singing Abba songs ( out of tune ) for days :-)
ReplyDeleteHow pretty! Love those pastel batiks. Very charming, and makes me smile.
