I'm doing my hostess duties on The Miniature Booty Swap and it makes me ponder on my own little collection.
I started in the Doll Swap II last spring. My logic of signing up at the time was to use stash and have a completed project. I love the feeling of accomplishment when I finish making my quilts and the rewards of receiving them from around the world. I have participated in 6 mini quilt swaps total and in 3 more currently and a round robin that will end up in a mini quilt as well.
Here's the ones I've made over the past year:
Here's what I have received:
I can't wait to see what I receive this summer. I recommend these swaps to everyone!
I still love your 'ickle' houses! I hope somebody makes you something nice ;-)
ReplyDeleteHehehe, I'm sure that person will :)
What an interesting collection of small quilts.
ReplyDeleteThank you very much. I'm trying to make my first "artsy" quilt this summer....time to break out of my box :)
I like the mini collection. so far I have 3 in my collection.
ReplyDeleteIt's addicting isn't it! You'll have more soon enough!
I'm not a swapper but I've enjoyed seeing the minis that everyone's been making and receiving.
ReplyDeleteThank you Mary! I use to do block swaps years ago, but have stopped doing that mainly due to UFO issues I still have. But knowing I get a completed project in these kinds of swaps make them more fun!
