As host Month 3 of Hoopsisters at
Gina's Bernina today, here's an update on the blocks I've finished so far. Unfortunately my poor embroidery machine has been in the shop several weeks and I haven't been able to get further - - and to top it off it's still not fixed. Le sigh. The next step would be to mail it out to the company which means 3-5 weeks gone :( so, I'll make do slowly I guess. I have 19 out of 36 blocks done:
And here's my next 2 (4 total) blocks in the Patchwork Square Quilt Along - Week 4:
All my blocks together:
Yep, a lot of sewing going on this week.
I love the Hoopsisters. I hate to hear your machine is on the blink. Your Patchwork quilt along is coming along nicely. I like that pop of lime green.
ReplyDeleteWow, you have had a busy week! that's one complicated looking quilt you have going up the top there...bummer about your embroidery machine though.
ReplyDeleteHave a great easter

hope your machine comes home soon.....enjoy your hoopsisters
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear that you have had so much trouble with your embroidery machine :(
ReplyDeleteThe Hoopsister is beautiful - love the colors!!
Your blocks are wonderful! I can't decide which colorway I like better.
Oh, those hoopsister blocks are fascinating to look out. Neat work.
ReplyDeleteLove the other solid fabric blocks too.
Isnt' it just PAINFUL when your machine goes down! Love the embroidery so far, though. And your blocks look great. I have to admit that I never would have chose those colors, but I am very surprised at how attracted to them I am as your quilt is coming together! Guess that is just one more example that one needs to keep an open mind!
