TGIF!!!

I'm very excited to participate in my first "Friday Night Sew-In" (FNSI)!! Come and join the fun and focus on finishing a project or two before the holidays! Heidi is hosting 2 this month and there's an opportunity for prizes!! Click on the logo:

So, Linda from Stray Stitches has me hooked.  I've been keeping up with blogs daily and apparently I don't have enough to follow, so reading Linda's blog I've discovered "giveaways" and entering  and adding new blogs to read daily!  Very exciting!  Some giveaways ask to share their information, so here are a few I just entered:

Stray Stitches (she has a HUGE giveaway)
One More Quilt
SewCalGal
Jane's Fabric & Quilts
Cotton Cocktails - Quilt Show Giveaways

And this give away has it's own logo :)

I've added several new blogs just from visiting those ladies giveaways....ya'l have awsome links on your sidebars!

Now yesterday I worked, but I found just a little time to sew again for me, needed something a little different to just not think and sewing a straight stitch, so I pulled out this UFO and plan to finish it up on one of the FNSI's this month.  The pattern is from Pieces of my Heart, #351 It's A Wrap!  I've made it a little smaller for hanging purposes.  Now all it needs is sashing put on and borders:

TGIF, what is everyone's plans for the weekend?

  5. Love those Christmas packages. Cute quilt! Sometimes I just want to sit there and straight stitch and listen to the hum of the machine. This blogging is very addictive. I really enjoy seeing what everyone is up to.
