I'm very excited to participate in my first "Friday Night Sew-In" (FNSI)!! Come and join the fun and focus on finishing a project or two before the holidays! Heidi is hosting 2 this month and there's an opportunity for prizes!! Click on the logo:

So, Linda from Stray Stitches has me hooked.  I've been keeping up with blogs daily and apparently I don't have enough to follow, so reading Linda's blog I've discovered "giveaways" and entering  and adding new blogs to read daily!  Very exciting!  Some giveaways ask to share their information, so here are a few I just entered:

Stray Stitches (she has a HUGE giveaway)
One More Quilt
Jane's Fabric & Quilts
Cotton Cocktails - Quilt Show Giveaways

And this give away has it's own logo :)

I've added several new blogs just from visiting those ladies giveaways....ya'l have awsome links on your sidebars!

Now yesterday I worked, but I found just a little time to sew again for me, needed something a little different to just not think and sewing a straight stitch, so I pulled out this UFO and plan to finish it up on one of the FNSI's this month.  The pattern is from Pieces of my Heart, #351 It's A Wrap!  I've made it a little smaller for hanging purposes.  Now all it needs is sashing put on and borders:

TGIF, what is everyone's plans for the weekend?

  1. I love It's a Wrap! I can't wait to see more.

  2. That is an adorable Christmas wall hanging!
Weekend plans aren't sorted out here yet, but will include some time for quilting!

  3. Linda Lum Debono is the designer of It's A Wrap. You should check out her blog, it's a good one. (I tried posting the link here but it's hard on my iPhone, sorry) Right now she's participating in the Henry Glass Designer Blog Hop. Lots of really cool giveaways daily and a big prize at the end. Also a great way to check out other good blogs. I love Stray Stitches, it's one if my favorite blogs. You'll have a great time at FSNI. Last time wasy first time participating and I loved it. I even won a prize!

  4. I love your quilt! What a happy Christmas quilt to display.

  5. Love those Christmas packages. Cute quilt! Sometimes I just want to sit there and straight stitch and listen to the hum of the machine. This blogging is very addictive. I really enjoy seeing what everyone is up to.

  6. Cute pattern.
I have a very busy weekend planned with church stuff and hopefully get a Christmas tree after church on Sunday.
