Snow, snow, and wait...more snow...

and it's only the 2nd week in February, we normally get our biggest snow at the end of the month....le sigh.

But snow takes beautiful pictures.....here's a few from the past week of blizzards...my yard has seen over 46" of snow since Friday and rumor more is coming on Monday.....

I have been sewing my strips together for my bargello and just love how the fabrics are working together:

I need to move myself away from the computer and focus on clearing out snow!

  1. I feel your pain Toni! We've seen more than 42" of the white stuff fall here on Kent Island since Friday. I'm just glad to have been able to work from home yesterday and sneak in some quilty time between phone calls and projects. Today i'm off and I'll be spending quality time in the studio cutting out a new project. Love your bargello, those fabrics are really lovely together. Stay safe and warm :)

  7. That is just way, way too much snow. Wow. But what a wonderful, serene-looking beach you've found in your sewing room... I love the colors for your new bargello project. Gorgeous!

  9. I have to admit, while I don't miss the snow, I'm sorry you seem to be getting it all. We've averaged less than 2" of snow in our yard all winter - and we're north of Lake Ontario. {hugs}
