YAH!!!

I have a day off!!!  YAH!!  :)  Granted it's packed with errands to do to prepare for this weekend.

I did make it to guild last night and we had a wonderful speaker who is an excellent story teller.  Ladies were in tears from laughing so hard throughout the night.  I got to "show off" my completed top for last month's lotto blocks:

I'm helping a friend today go through her stash and pack it up so they can sell their house, then I have to run to the grocery store and grab weekend items, then I need to "pre-cut" several projects I hope to work on this weekend.  I have learned the more I pre-cut for a retreat/sewing weekend, the more time I spend sewing and peicing.....which means more completed :)

I hope to sew something today, a day isn't complete unless I turn the sewing machine on!

Don't ya just love when household items sneak into the photo? The top is very pretty. Busy day you have planned. The cutting part isn't nearly as much fun as the piecing.

  3. I'll admit it - I keep forgetting to pop over *here* to see what's been up with you lately.

But *wow* you've been busy! I like the quilt in this post, and I *really* like the sunflower block you did and sent off earlier this fall. Perfect for you - it's too bad it was on the "more difficult" side.

  4. I love the way you put those blocks together -- great fabric for turning that into a quilt!

This is one beautiful quilt. I like the skull too. I always have to look closely before I post a pic because who knows what might sneak in...

  7. Sounds like you had a hurry up and catch up day. Sometimes we just have to have those to get by. Your blocks made a great quilt thanks to a great quilter. You don't know how much I appreciate your "following" my blog. I was beginning to think I would never have more than 5 LOL. Thanks again.
