The Hershey Show...

what a weekend!

I had such a wonderful time on Saturday at the quilt show with some wonderful people. We spent the first part of the show window shopping. Tailgated at my van for lunch and return to purchase what we "really" needed/wanted. By that time, Jane - who had travelled to the show on the bus from the shop, realized she wouldn't have time to enjoy the quilts if she left wit the bus at 3:45, joined us on the ride home. We finished shopping and viewed all the quilts and oooo and ahhhed. By 5:00 we were done--exhaustion sitting in. We ate at the local Fuddruckers (YUM) and were back in Mt. Airy by 8:30. It was a fun day!

I of course took lots of pictures. You can view all the quilts by clicking here, but here are a few of my favorites:

My traveling buddies: Cheryl, Jane, Eva, me, Donna

My favorite quilt

My booty haul: 5 taupe tonals (we have 6 in this line at the shop already) at $2.75 per 1/2 yard it was a great deal. Next 2 new paper piecing patterns. Chef fabric from Loralie I've been looking for, for a while now w/matching veggies and a sea shell batik. All the Halloween fabric was gifted to me by Donna and Cheryl for driving :)

I'm off to work and looks positive to finish up my other sewing projects tonight to see Penny tomorrow morning!

Have a nice day!

That quilt is stunning! I would never attempt it though. Your booty haul is boo-tiful, especially the halloween fabrics. Glad you had a great time!
