Lookie what I did....

tell me what is wrong with this picture from my Part 4 Orange Crush.....

Yah, I messed up on one of the rows....and realized it AFTER I had sewn 30 sets....le sigh...I need to rip them all out but I wanted to sew and decided to move on to Part 5, which I almost finished today (don't tell Bonnie :))....and I'm sooo going to love this outcome:

And I got to use my newest notions today with my little angle rule:

Spent some time with Cheryl and learned how to make fabric postcards today and finishing off some yummy strawberry pie.  This will be the last sewing I get done for a week, need to pack still.  I hate packing.

  1. Don't you just hate when you mess things like that up? I am so bad to do that and then I get mad and they end up being a UFO!!! I love the colors that you are using! Your OC is going to be amazing!!!! Hurry and rip those out, I want to see the finished top!!!!

Thank you! I won't be able to get back to it for a week, but hopefully by end of the month!!

  3. thanks for stopping by my blog today...that quilt was a hoot in person. Funny I saw tulip before I saw Mark with all that fabric. Huby just shakes his head....your OC looks great and I saw the design opportunity....

You're very welcome, that quilt was a riot! Thank you!

  4. I just made another postcard tonight. The first one for this swap was never received; I think because a) it was going to Canada, and b) wasn't considered "important" by the postal service it got lost in the shuffle. *sigh*

Ugh, how frustrating!! At least you get more practice in! :)

  5. Bless your heart. I've done the same thing many times....sewn lots of rows or pieces only to discover what I've done wrong....grrrrrrrrr!
    Take care.

:) Ya know to top it off, I even have ironed the seams....open. I prefer to iron them open, which makes it more of a pain to redo ...oh well!

    Thanks for stopping by!

  6. Aside from that little oops, it looks great! What a pain to have to rip out. I wonder if you could just make it your version :-)

Thank you Karol-Ann!!! Of course I need more practice at making stars apparently! :)

  10. I totally understand the frustration of ripping out (I know that feeling waaaaaay too well!), but I love the way it's coming out. Your colors are glorious!

Thank you sooo much!! I'll be working on it later today, I got all the ripping out done!
