Houston? Anyone?

It's funny how out of the blue in a passing email or in a yahoo group, someone will mention Houston Quilt show in November. And I get all excited thinking of going this year for the first time!

I plan on getting my airline tickets next month and already have places to stay - love the internet! I met a wonderful new friend from Live Journal who has offered me a spot in her group from Austin to stay. We plan to do some shop hopping before we go down to Houston and maybe some more hopping on the way back. I just can not wait!

So, I'm off of work today and working on my BOM from Live Journal, then plan to do a DJ block or two, maybe toss in doing one catch up block on my Flower BOM that meets this Saturday - - -oh and do a quickie paper piecing wall hanging for a class I plan to teach at the shop in July.

I'm so excited....next 2 days of sewing should produce lots of pictures!

OHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhh and my butterfly quilt I sent off to be quilted (2 weeks ago) is done...here are the pictures she sent me:

She's sending it out today, so I guess I should add prepare binding to my list of things to do! :D
